Our Story
Hi and welcome! We are Angelique and Don Barlow. We are first-time ranchers, and the family behind Barn & Bloom.
After years of suburban living, we felt a deep pull toward something slower, more connected, and more meaningful. We longed for open skies, space to breathe, and a life closer to the land where we could raise our family. A place where community, family and nature will be at the center of how we live.
So we took a leap of faith! What began as a dream of owning land quickly turned into an exciting adventure of learning how to care for cattle, steward the property, and create something beautiful from the ground up.
We are currently building a cattle ranch, planting flowers, dreaming up fruit and vegetable gardens, and lovingly transforming our barn into a warm and welcoming multi-functional gathering space.
Barn & Bloom is truly a labor of love. Our hope is to create a place where people can gather, celebrate, learn, slow down, and create beautiful memories. Whether that’s through weddings, special events, workshops, family gatherings, Montessori Tutoring or simply sharing meaningful moments together.
